Public bug reported: Nux uses glewmx. glew was updated to 2.0 in Debian but since glewmx support was dropped upstream in the new version, a glewmx source package was introduced. See https://bugs.debian.org/836942 Both the new glew and glewmx packages were autosynced to Ubuntu zesty.
But libglewmx-dev is no longer co-installable with libglew-dev. This makes nux and Unity unbuildable in zesty. $ sudo apt install libnux-4.0-dev The following packages have unmet dependencies: libnux-4.0-dev : Depends: libglewmx-dev but it is not going to be installed $ apt show libglewmx-dev Package: libglewmx-dev Version: 1.13.0-3 Source: glewmx Original-Maintainer: Paul Wise <[email protected]> Provides: libglewmx1.5-dev, libglewmx1.6-dev Depends: libglewmx1.13 (= 1.13.0-3) Conflicts: libglew-dev, libglewmx1.6-dev ** Affects: nux (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Tags: ftbfs zesty ** Also affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1639622 Title: Nux is uninstallable/unbuildable in zesty-proposed (Depends on glewmx) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nux/+bug/1639622/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
