Hi all, I have disabled IPv6, and I am using OpenDNS for my DNS servers, and still when i wget www.google.com I get: Connecting to www.google.com|1.0.0.0|:80... failed: Connection timed out.
pinging www.google.com and then wget makes it work for some amount of time, also firefox works, and browsing a site has same effect as pinging it, i.e. makes that wget works for some time... Same behavior as wget have Pidgin and apt-get, probably other programs, but I haven't test any more ... Is there some way to stop AAAA queries from happening, or somehow redirect them to A queries ?
