I cannot confirm this. I've tried installing virtualbox_1.5.0-24069-1_Ubuntu_feisty_i386.deb (from virtualbox.org) and it asked me about the license (in the terminal window, which you have to first open/display).
This may depend on the debconf frontend being used (see "sudo dpkg- reconfigure debconf"). What backend are you using? I'm using "dialog". Chris, why do you think it's related to cache.py? ** Attachment added: "screenshot displaying the licences debconf question" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9956566/gdebi-kde-virtualbox-license.png ** Changed in: gdebi (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- GDebi goes wild with virtualbox 1.5.0 binary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151912 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
