Public bug reported:
Card was first applied with 7.04 in which there was no support. I
experienced no system freeze, but could not connect to router. After
upgrading to 7.10 beta I experienced a full system freeze in both Ubuntu
and Kubuntu once the card is inserted.
The machine in question is Fujitsu Siemens S6010
