Nothing worked in http: //askubuntu.com/questions/760671/could-not-load-vboxdrv-after-upgrade-to-ubuntu-16-04-and-i-want-to-keep-secur In my BIOS, there is no mention of "Enable support for legacy ...". So I disabled secure boot (in the BIOS) & rebooted. Mow "Sudo modprobe vboxdrv" works and so does VirtualBox. AFAIK secure boot is only required if you also run Windows. As I don't, what do I care. Please tell me if I'm wrong on this point.
