One correction:

This applies to library transitions.  Partition Manager doesn't provide a 
shared library, so this is not an issue.  As I'm mentioned to others, if 
someone will produce an updated package that's been tested, I'm willingto 
sponsor it in Debian (and you can sync it into Ubuntu).
