This problem appears only in Yakkety only, previous versions are not
affected.
In previous Xubuntu versions, typing "gedit" in whisker would bring up the text
editor.
This doesn't work anymore.
Presumably because "name" in in the .desktop file is now "Text Editor",
not "gedit".
In 16.04, "Text Editor" is the value of GenericName, name being "gedit".
