Fn-F5 key toggled wireless in 7.04.
After upgrading to 7.10 Fn-F5 did not toggle wireless.
This can be fixed by editing /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi.modprobe
Initial contents of /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi.modprobe after upgrade:
options thinkpad_acpi hotkey=enable,0xffff8f experimental=1
Contents of /etc/modprobe.d/thinkpad_acpi.modprobe, which results in working
Fn-F5 key combination:
options thinkpad_acpi hotkey=enable,0xffff experimental=1
I'm not sure if this is a bug, as I've seen reports using the initial
configuration ("0xffff8f") without any mention of the key combination
not working.
What is the purpose of the "8f" portion of the mask?
