I am trying to install ubuntu on USB, that way therefore my laptop stays
undisturbed with win8.1. I am not in a position to compromise since i have only
one laptop.
downloaded iso file twice. previous was 16.04. this time it was 16.04.01, but
the similar problem during installation.
very frustrating. Around 4 months ago i tried for around 15hrs using 16.04.
this attempt has already been over 10 hrs. Tried to isntal from usb as well as
dvd. Tried mounting on usb with rufus and usb installer. This time i am trying
to install on a USB drive only. Previous attampt failed on a blank internal ssd
drive also.
Failing all, please help me on how to create persistent use area on the usb
stick.
