Binary package hint: compiz
On my Dell 1420N, the intel graphics have worked fine with compiz until
the update (Bug #149751) that prevented it from running. When hardware
is blacklisted, instead of simply reporting that "desktop effects can
not be enabled" an option should be presented to override the blacklist.
