With version 2:4.3.11+dfsg-0ubuntu0.14.04.2 installed libpam-winbind no longer talks to winbind This means all authentication which involves PAM is failing for us. I have reverted to 2:4.3.11+dfsg-0ubuntu0.14.04.1 temporarily.
