This bug also affects tray (appindicator) menu items. With env UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=''
the shortcuts work, but not the tray menu, also problems with updating the tray icon. With env QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME='' everything works, but the UI degrades considerably (no Unity look&feel).
