Public bug reported:

I've a trouble in transfering a large file (4.8Gb) from my HD to an external HD 
in sharing with Win too.
The external HD is NTFS formatted for compatibility with WIN

If I move/copy the file from WIN10 environment, the process is completed 
correctly.
If I move/copy the file from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS environment, I have the error:

        Error splicing file: File too large

System configuration:

        Intel® Core™ i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz × 8 
        RAM 32Gb
        Graphics Quadro 600
        OS type 64-bit

External HD Packard Bell 1Tb Graffite model, NTFS format
