You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Information bar in Nautilus will be transparent if the focus is lost.
This will make texts on it hard to see if the information bar overlaps
with a file icon.
How to reproduce:
Open Nautilus, select a file, scroll the window so that a file icon is
overlapped by the information , then click another window.
I've included a screenshot showing what will happen.
