Hi there, I can confirm this Bug. Complete system freeze (LEDs on keyboard for capslock and roll keep blinking, all attempts to work with the system are ignored, only hardware reset works) on configuring the wireless connection, although the card itself seems to be working out of the box and recognised well, because it lists wireless networks in the roaming mode and the network-admin configuration window for the card. I've tried this with Live CD of the release candidate and the installed system, also tried to work around the problem with ndiswrapper, which leads to the same freeze after completing the configuration.
Please don't ignore this error, there seem to be problems with the configuration of other cards, too -- Belkin F5D6001 Freezing Ubuntu 7.10 RC1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152102 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
