Binary package hint: usplash
The splash screen appears OK when using the livecd, but after installing
Ubuntu on the hard drive the splash screen no longer appears when
booting up.
This is on a HP Compaq 6820s laptop with:
* Mobile Intel PM965 chipset
* ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 graphics
** Affects: usplash (Ubuntu)
