> Nicolas Joyard: not sure this is the same bug because you have the
message "Nvidia: no matching device section", I think you should check
your xorg.conf first, it might be incorrect.
Thanks for the promt response. I checked my xorg.conf and it the relevant part
(I think) reads:
section "Device"
Identifier "Standardgrafikkarte"
Boardname "NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series"
Busid "PCI:0:18:0"
Driver "nvidia"
Screen 0
Vendorname "NVIDIA"
All kernels have this modul I think:
/lib64/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia/nvidiafb.ko
/lib64/modules/2.6.22-13-generic/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia/nvidiafb.ko
/lib64/modules/2.6.22-12-generic/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia/nvidiafb.ko
I attached my xorg.conf just incase this was not the relevant part.
Should I file a new bug report?
Thanks for your help.
Stephan
