I think this is simply turned off in the kernel as the error suggests. grep LATENCY /boot/config*
shows # CONFIG_LATENCYTOP is not set I doubt this will be turned on and your best bet is to recompile your kernel or better perhaps look into newer methods of looking at linux latency issues, this might be a good start - http://www.brendangregg.com/blog/2016-10-27/dtrace-for-linux-2016.html Cheers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1624885 Title: unable to run latencytop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1624885/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
