This is probably caused by too many sources (in /etc/apt/sources.list). Try adding the following into /etc/apt/apt.conf, which increases the size of the MMap (to 64MB): APT::Cache-Limit "64000000";
update-manager should probably adjust this manually, to prevent this from happening? It seems that the error is caused by adding additional sources during the upgrade process. ** Summary changed: - update manager fails to update + update manager fails to update (E:Dynamic MMap ran out of room) -- update manager fails to update (E:Dynamic MMap ran out of room) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
