Public bug reported:

I had just managed to finish disk partitioning (it was the third time I
rebooted because it kept getting stuck alternating between "An error
occurred while configuring encrypted volumes. The configuration has been
aborted." and "The fat32 file system creation in partition #2 of SCSI2
(0, 0, 0) (sda) failed." with the only option being to press "OK" for
each dialog). Then when it wanted to ask my location it crashed with the
message "Installer crashed".
