The program ps2epsi was working before the automatic update on 02
December, 2016. Now it is not.

What I expected to happen: the command ps2epsi drawing.ps should
complete without error and produce the file drawing.epsi.

What happened instead: the command ps2epsi drawing.ps threw the error above. 
The file drawing.epsi was produced. However, the file throws an error when 
opened by epstopdf:-

Despite the error, a pdf is produced (drawing.pdf). But it cannot be
opened by evince.

All files in the chain (drawing.ps, drawing.epsi & drawing.pdf) are
attached as.
