I think I am experiencing a similar problem in one of my computers. I
can log in fine, but when I press Ctrl-Alt-L or my X session becomes
otherwise locked I cannot input the password to get back in anymore.
It's always refused as incorrect even though I enter the correct
password.  A successful workaround is to choose "Switch Account" in the
top right corner and then login in successfully with the previously
rejected password.  Still wondering what is going on there.
