If the /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory not created or removed the update will
fail without any warning.
Please check the existence of the dir in sourceslist.py after:
236: partsdir = apt_pkg.Config.FindDir("Dir::Etc::sourceparts")
314: partsdir = apt_pkg.Config.FindDir("Dir::Etc::sourceparts")
