Public bug reported:
After downloading and burning the Ubuntu 7.10RC (i386 Desktop) image
(verified correct md5sum) it won't boot on my Via EX15000G motherboard.
I get an error display saying the display server quit 6 times and that
it will wait 2 minutes to retry. It seems to keep looping in that
pattern. I received the same results when selecting the boot using safe
video mode option.
I can boot the 7.04 cd fine with no problems (I think it uses the vesa
driver by default). I then build and install the experimental
openchrome driver.
