What can I else do to find out what the kernel is doing while my computer does not respond? (can I turn the kernel or at least some of its modules to more verbose logging?) btw: what does the "rubbish" in the kern.log mean? Does it indicate an error in the filesystem or SSD driver? (or does it just mean that the meachine got unresponsive in the middle of writing to the disk?)
