Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: subversion

Today i was trying to import a directory to a remote repository and got
the following error:

svn: Unrecognized URL scheme for 'https://...'

when i do 'svn --version' i get the following message:

$ svn --version
svn, version 1.4.3 (r23084)
   compiled Oct 12 2007, 13:28:55

Copyright (C) 2000-2006 CollabNet.
Subversion is open source software, see http://subversion.tigris.org/
This product includes software developed by CollabNet (http://www.Collab.Net/).

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network protocol.
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme

Notice that there is no Module that permits access to http or https
repositories. There should be one, named ra_dav.

Here's some version information about packages i know are important to
SVN:

ii subversion 1.4.3dfsg1-1ubuntu1.1
      Advanced version control system
ii libapr1 1.2.7-8.1
      The Apache Portable Runtime Library
ii libaprutil1 1.2.7+dfsg-2build1
The Apache Portable Runtime Utility Library
ii libsvn1 1.4.3dfsg1-1ubuntu1.1
      Shared libraries used by Subversion
ii libneon25 0.25.5.dfsg-6build1
An HTTP and WebDAV client library
ii libneon26 0.26.3-1
An HTTP and WebDAV client library

Really hope this gets fixed soon.
