The nvidia driver has problems with running out of texture memory (the
other drivers don't) and cannot use shared RAM for texture_from_pixmap
so the problem is even worse for compiz. Better to block the few who
might do alright with such a little bit of VRAM than give a very poor
(mostly unusable even) experience to the many who don't.
You can always start compiz with SKIP_CHECKS=yes if you want to work
around this.
