Binary package hint: tremulous
Tremulous starts fine, shows the splash screen, the main menu, and the
server browser, and allows me to join a server. Once I join a server,
however, the video output becomes broken and garbled and the menus in
particular are unreadable. By guessing at the positions of the menu
buttons I am still able to exit the game, so I know the game has not
crashed -- it seems to simply be a video problem.
I am running Gutsy Beta RC. This did not happen with the Feisty
tremulous package.
I am using the proprietary driver installed for me by the Restricted manager,
for the following graphics card:
