Public bug reported:
I installed version 3.20.4-1 under Ubuntu 16.10, but can't see indicator in
Unity top panel, although manual installation instructions at
https://github.com/Keruspe/GPaste include this:
"If you also want to build the unity application indicator, you'll have to pass
--enable-unity to configure."
Opting for manual installation instead abruptly ends at the configure step with
this error message:
"configure:15204: error: Package requirements (appstream-glib) were not met:
No package 'appstream-glib' found"
** Affects: gpaste (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
