I did not load the upstream yet.. but I installed the latest bios and it did not seem to work. I also tried a program called hdajackretask. This did not work according to the youtube.com video I watched to make the microphone work. So I am left with a problem. It should mute the speakers and internal mic and allow me to use plugged in headset. The internal mic is still active and the plugged in mic (of the headset) does not work.
