Hi,
likely something on the cleanup went wrong.

>From the Log:
Creating config file /etc/php5/mods-available/gd.ini with new version
cp: cannot create regular file ‘/etc/php5/mods-available/gd.ini’: No such file
or directory

There might be wrong permissions or other things in the way a default install
would not have.
If you clean that up it should re-install correctly.

Setting to incomplete as it works for me, please set it back to new if
you tried my recommendation but it didnÄt work for you and add what you
have found.

** Changed in: php5 (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Incomplete
