Hi Could someone help in pointing me in the right direction to upgrade our current version to the one that fixes the problem?
I have tried this on Linux Mint 18.1 Beta which installs Libreoffice Calc 5.1.4.2, and the problem still exists. The real issue seems to be that the Find/Replace function is trying to populate thousands of records into a small window for display to the user and the system takes a very long time (> 15 min) to display this. In any case, the window is of not much use especially if more than 20-30 records are being replaced, as the user cannot do much with the information once the replacement has taken place. Alternatively, is there a patch that can be applied for only Calc which resolves this issue? Thanks for any help that I can get. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1342175 Title: [upstream] Poor performance with find & replace with empty value on large data set To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1342175/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
