Another case that now necessarily relies on 127.0.0.53 is anything inside a chroot (e.g. sbuild). libnss-resolve can’t help there: you can’t talk to the host D-Bus from inside, and also you might want to chroot a distro that’s too old for libnss-resolve anyway.
