Public bug reported:
[189212-S5B]System cannot install Ubuntu 16.04 on this cfg#F2_1 , will hang up
soon at partition disk selection list. Steps to reproduce the problem
1. Setup system w/ NVMe full install
2. Boot from PXE and install Ubuntu 16.04 on P3700 pcie-ssd
3. Idle for a while when install progress at partition disk selection list.
4. The system will hang up soon , and SEL w/o any abnormal logs.
Verified more info as below:
a. Ubuntu 16.04 -- > NG
b. Ubuntu 16.04.01 -- > NG
c. Ubuntu 15.10 -- > Pass
d. P3500 PCIE-ssd is passed
The system config:
CPU:CPU,Skylake-EP,16 Core,2.4GHz,2666,B0,LGA
3647,256KB/core,165W,22MB,QL28,949716,10.4GT/s,NA,NA,ES2,NA
Storage:Intel P3700,SSDPE2MD800G4,PCI-e,800GB,Gen3 X4 U.2,2.5 - 15mm * 12
