Binary package hint: gdm
Since 2.20.0-0ubuntu4 was released a couple of days ago, I cannot get
any login anymore. Instead, GDM reports something like "The login
application appears to have died. Trying to launch a second time." Try
it does and it repeatedly fails.
I would try manually launching X from CLI until a fix is released,
except that someone broke the framebuffer consoles, once again, just 4
days away from Gutsy release, so I cannot use my Gutsy laptop at all,
right now.
