I actually succeeded in performing the installation, with the media I had. I already check the integrity of the iso I downloaded and it was OK. The onlly thing I changed in the way of installing is that I used gparted prior to launching the installation to erase all partition I could have on my disk. (booting on the Live CD) Then the installation occured without any issue.
What may caused the problem is that the 1st partition was actually a "backup" one, used by the manufacturer ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1651216 Title: Lubuntu 16.10 64bit installation crash at partition step To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1651216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
