Hi,
it seems all python setups seem to fail in your environment:
>From the log:

Setting up python-dnspython (1.12.0-1) ...
[...]
ImportError: No module named 'ConfigParser'
Setting up python-crypto (2.6.1-6build1) ...
[...]
ImportError: No module named 'ConfigParser'
Setting up python-ldb (2:1.1.24-1ubuntu3) ...
[...]
ImportError: No module named 'ConfigParser'

The trace always is the same:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/pycompile", line 35, in <module>
from debpython.version import SUPPORTED, debsorted, vrepr, \
  File "/usr/share/python/debpython/version.py", line 24, in <module>
    from ConfigParser import SafeConfigParser

I tried but I could not reproduce the issue.
Not as-is in Xenial but not even by trying to get rid of configparser before
the install.

Do you have any sort of special python setup?
And manual pip installs, and blocked/pinned packages, custom python lib lookup
paths, ...?
