It appear to not be the same as those two bugs, although the getaround is the same: restart the daemon
In this case, evolution is attempting to authenticate against a locally hosted plain password login wrapped in https (off-the-mill php) Evolution does not offer to store the credentials somewhere, it accepts them and the next time you start evolution, it says authentication failed. I could not authenticate until I realized goa-daemon needs a restart. I had no idea there was a goa-daemon before it broke. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1649995 Replace Google API key used by GNOME services -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1651575 Title: goa-daemon starts broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-online-accounts/+bug/1651575/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
