I checked out version 1.14.2-1 from zesty (proposed) and stumbled over
this issue:
In the /usr/share/dbus-1/system-services/org.freedesktop.sssd.infopipe.service
the Exec line is as follows:
Exec=${prefix}/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sssd/sss_signal
but it should be
Exec=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sssd/sss_signal
Without this modification the ifp services fails to start.
