Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-i810
After upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy on a laptop with an Intel 810
grapics card, the computer freezes on startup when loading X (before GDM
comes up).
A workaround is to boot into recovery mode and edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
Replace the device driver "i810" with "intel".
On Feisty the "i810"-driver worked fine.
