Public bug reported:

Gnome-terminal is not responding to any attempts to open profile preferences.
Clicking on "Profile Preferences" from the "Edit" menu simply closes the 
window; opening the "Profiles" dialog, and clicking "Edit" there, also elicits 
no response.


$ lsb_release -rd

I am able to edit profile preferences.
