Public bug reported:

When using a ktorrent proxy, in the settings i put >
the server to connect to, 1080 as the port and socks5 and authenticate with
username and password.

I have quadruple checked that the username and password to the proxy is
correct, yet in the Log in Ktorrent, i keep getting this error now and
again it will display:

'Failed to connect to host via socks server' yet i can still download
in the process.

But if i deliberately make a mistake to my username or password, i then get the
error constantly flooding the Log instead of just one or 2 of the same error
here and there.
I have tried different proxy servers yet i still get the error message now and
again.

To top it off, when i go to http://ipmagnet.services.cbcdn.com/ to check
if my proxy is really working, it shows my real ip address instead of
the proxy's ip.

Is there some sort of known bug in Ktorrent regarding the proxy settings?
because it doesnt seem to be working right at all.
Has anyone managed to get Ktorrent socks5 proxy working with no issues that
would display the proxy's ip address from here:
http://ipmagnet.services.cbcdn.com/ and not bypass it by showing you your real
ip?
