snapd is available in 14.04 now via `sudo apt install snapd`. However a
seccomp issue with bpf on 64 bit systems
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snap-confine/+bug/1653487)
blocks the build on amd64 currently :/
