In this case, what you need to do is exactly what the message says, set the FQDN or edit /etc/amavis/conf.d/05-node_id and modify the $myhostname variable to be a FQDN.
Since there isn't enough information in your report to differentiate between a local configuration problem and a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community ** Changed in: amavisd-new (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1652577 Title: package amavisd-new 1:2.10.1-4ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amavisd-new/+bug/1652577/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
