Now I have problems. Removing 4.9.0.11 and adding 4.10.0-1 at the same time will stall on reboot. 4.10.0 stalls permanently on restart and the HDD is noisy. I got the Grub menu back but it is intermittent. Will do the inverse now: re-install 4.9.0.11 and delete 4.10.0.
4.10.0 and its associated ppa were deleted. The HDD is noise free now. Reaching the grub menu is a real bug. Rc3 boots default and is OK. Now will be removing 4.9.0.11 and see from there... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1655123 Title: Kernel 4.10 stalls on restart To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1655123/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
