Public bug reported:
When booting up, a general protection fault occurs (see kern.log). This
happens when I'm booting from kernel version 4.4.0. It never occur when
I'm booting from 4.1.1. Furthermore, this problem does not always occur
on every boot up (from version 4.4.0). It is intermittent.
