None of the following suggestions below worked for me. The odd thing is
that this problem appeared to me in 2017-01-18, while it appeared to
others much earlier. Why hasn't the problem occurred to everyone at the
same time?

Solutions that failed for me:

Thomas Dreibholz (dreibh)
sudo apt-get purge 'libvirt.*' apparmor apparmor-profiles
apparmor-profiles-extra
sudo apt-get install libvirt-bin apparmor apparmor-profiles

peterdv (peter-dahl-vestergaard)
sudo apparmor_parser –purge-cache
sudo apparmor_parser -R /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.libvirtd
sudo apparmor_parser -r /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.libvirtd
sudo systemctl restart libvirt-bin
sudo apt-get -f install

Harry de Vries (h-vries50)
sudo kill `cat /var/run/libvirtd.pid`
sudo apt-get -f install
