I tried to unlock the modem with mmcli and it looks like partially worked. mmcli -m .... returned: 'successfully connected the modem' and the modem led blinking indicates 3G connection. However, in the settings menu I can still see "Mobile Broadband Off" and no Internet works.
When I try to choose "Mobile Broadband Connect" (assuming that the modem is now unlocked) I get nothing.
