I've experienced ubuntu 7.10 beta.
Since the begining my ATI RADEON 9200 does'nt work propely.This version of
Ubuntu have the option tu use multi screen, but when I enable the second screen
it just do nothing. One time, I've lose the configuration, and have to
reinstall Ubuntu 7.10.
Some time I lose the visual efects, and if I try to enable it, it says that my
graphics card does'nt support visual effects :-O
Sometimes the visual effects work without any intervention. I don't understand
why does it happen :-(
After a few updates, I try to use the Dual Screen (witch the second is a TV)
and still don't work. I think that option need a lots of work yet :-( I've to
use Microsoft Windows to use dual screen when I need it, and it's the most part
of the time.
With Messenger that cames with ubuntu by default, when activate some plugins,
and after restarting the computer, I've to enable the plugins again... here
needs some work to, or bak to old messenger that cames in Ubuntu 7.04.
I've tryed to install VMWare Player, and it says that can't be possbible
because there are another program using some "dependences?" that can't install
VMWare Player! (what is that program???? it don't say).
Please fix all of these. I realy like Ubuntu, and want to change from Microsoft
Windows. If I've this problems in Ubuntu, I've to be a slave of Microsoft.
