Public bug reported:
Hello,
since I upgraded to 16.04 my mike makes a loud "buoww" noise and
continue to regulate itself while I talk, I don't have skype (I use
mainly mumble, jitsi and discord and obs) and pavucontrol show no
configuration to disable auto regulation of the mike.
About the noise I installed 14.04 on a second hard disk to be sure it
wasn't a broken mike or cable, everything works fine over there. I then
enabled a "echo cancelled" pulseaudio sink to filter out the noise from
the mike but the volume continue to move by itself like the devil toke
control of it.
